Sarah Wood
Sarah graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy in 2012 and completed her post-graduate certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2016.Sarah graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy in 2012 and completed her post-graduate certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2016.
Prior to studying Physio, Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Sport Management then went on to follow her passion and skied around the world. She is an internationally certified ski instructor and former competitive skier, which allowed her to live and work throughout NZ, Canada, USA and Japan.
Since graduating, Sarah has worked in private practice in Auckland seeing a range of sporting and private injuries including chronic pain and neuropathic pain. After helping a family friend with physio as part of their cancer journey, this started an interest in cancer based rehabilitation for Sarah.
Sarah moved to Christchurch 2 years ago to be closer to the mountains and all the outdoors activities in the area. Outside of work, Sarah loves being in the outdoors hiking, biking and skiing.
