Bridging the Gap in Cancer Support Services

It was fantastic to have the clinical leads of Encompass Health come together at the Cancer Society’s In Pursuit: Cancer Research and Innovation Breakthroughs Conference.

Throughout the event, a recurring theme was the critical need for more support services to help people live well with cancer at all stages, an area that remains underrepresented in New Zealand’s cancer care landscape. It’s encouraging to know that Encompass Health is leading the way in addressing this gap by providing funded sessions in counselling, nutrition, and physiotherapy, ensuring more people can access the support they need.
