Sian Gibbons

I am of Māori and Welsh descent. I am a registered nurse who has worked in specialist mental health services for over 20 years, in Aotearoa, Australia and the U.K.

I am a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioural therapy. Areas of work have included specialist Child, Adolescent and Family mental health, Adult mental health and within kaupapa Māori perinatal mental health services. I also run my own private therapy practice. My main areas of practice are difficulties with anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, interpersonal challenges, adjustment, stress and trauma.

I have a strong work ethic driven by my passion to improve wellbeing outcomes for individuals and their whānau.
